I had lunch with family in Shanghai Gourmet. We’ve been to this restaurant a few times before and always enjoy the food. They have a great lunch special menu. Shredded pork w/ fish sauce was good with rice. Like most Shanghai dishes, it is a little sweeter. Fish Fillet w/ Wine Sauce was very tasty. The fish fillet was soft, and the sauce was very flavorful. Very tender Shanghai style rib w/ tomato sauce. Also good with rice. House Special Ham w/ Yam in Wine Sauce was my favorite dish of the day. The sauce is the same as the fish dish, but more flavorful because of the ham. The mountain yam was crunchy and so very tasty. Fried Rice Cake w/ Crabmeat is a very Shanghai dish. Love the chewy rice cake and the flavor of the crab. We had the meat ball w/ crabmeat soup at the end of the meal. Soft meatball with crabmeat stuff inside. Lots of napa cabbage and glass noodle in the soup. We had a great lunch at Shanghai Gourmet. I’d definitely come back again.

Shanghai style chinese cuisine food is really good here and the price is good. The staff is friendly and the food came out quick. Plenty of parking and is pretty busy during lunch hours.

Fresh and authentic flavors. A true mom and Pop but you need to speak Chinese or be prepared to go there and point at what you want. I have my mom call in my orders:) very friendly and accommodating also
